The brief was to create an L shape sofa that had to be an improvement over Furlenco's sole existing L-shape sofa. During the analysis of the current product an idea that struck home was that the most coveted seat on a sofa is generally the corner. And the current product had only one corner. Hence the idea was to increase the number of available corners so that atleast two people could lounge simultaneously. The iterative design process yielded a solution which consists of three separate modules, which can be combined to create different sofas
